The Hurricane Funding MatchMaker is a place for 501c3 groups to post funding proposals and requests for support to funders. Groups who want to post proposals should fill out the form below. Funders are also invited to post information about groups they would like to recommend to others.

This website was created to minimize barriers between groups in the field actively engaged in Hurricane Katrina response efforts and funders looking to support these efforts. It is intended both to aid in dispersing resources quickly and in expanding the number of progressive organizations with access to available funding.

In your description, please indicate whether you and/or your organization have prior experience working with the community your project is intended to aid.

If your project is a funder collaboration or pooled fund, please include that in the title, e.g.," COLLAB: xxx" or POOLED: xxx"
