DESCRIPTION

ArtPride NJ works to increase public awareness of how important the arts are to New Jersey's economic growth, our children's education and to our overall quality of life. Through research and the development of strategic partnerships ArtPride helps promote the value of the arts to New Jersey residents.

ArtPride provides concerned citizens with the tools needed to express support for public funding for the arts on statewide, national and local levels. As a co-sponsor of Discover Jersey Arts, a statewide arts marketing initiative, ArtPride encourages cultural participation and awareness of cultural opportunities in all corners of the State. As a co-sponsor of ArtsPlan NJ, ArtPride demonstrates the countless ways the arts intersect with education, technology, economic development, healthcare, job creation, transportation, tourism, violence prevention, and other public policy areas.
