B-PEP, Black Political Empowerment Project
VOTER WORK
DESCRIPTION
B-PEP, the Black Political Empowerment Project, is a non-partisan community collaborative consisting of agency, organization, and religious leaders, as well as committed individuals, who seek to build political power and influence for the African American community:
· By advocating that ALL African Americans are registered to vote, and that they "VOTE in each and every election!"
· By advocating that those in political office move to expeditiously and effectively meet the needs and aspirations of the African American population they are elected to serve.
· By continuing to communicate to the African American community the "connectedness" between a consistent, reliable voting pattern within the Black community and the goal of realizing the FULL political power potential of the Black vote!
