Chicagoans Against War and Injustice (CAWI)

VOTER WORK

DESCRIPTION

Chicagoans Against the War in Iraq is a group of ordinary citizens from many walks of life and political persuasions who have come together to voice our opposition to the war and to the Administration's reckless, anti-democratic and aggressive policies. We ask you to join your voice with ours.

CAWI is an official Illinois nonprofit public interest group, but we have no tax-exempt status, nor are we seeking one at this time. We are nonpartisan and do not endorse any candidates, but are "value-centered" against militarism, racism and in defense of civil liberties.

The Public Action Foundation (associated with Citizen Action), a 501C3, is CAWI's fiscal sponsor.
